ABOUT RJM

Originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, I have been studying Music Theatre since I was in the first grade! I was fortunate enough to grow up in an area that had wonderful public schools with brilliant arts programs. In 2016, I graduated from Elon University with a BFA in Music Theatre and a BA in Arts Administration and promptly moved to NYC. Since finding my footing in the largest small town in the world, I moved my career goal of becoming a full-time performer to the forefront of my focus. Still working full-time at Ars Nova, I spend every free minute I have and every dollar I can spare investing in my self-produced concerts. Since 2021, as the pandemic "began to end," I have headlined concerts at The Duplex, Joe's Pub, freeFall Theatre (St. Petersburg), and am currently in residence at Chelsea Table + Stage where I am producing four brand new concerts this year. In 2023, I self-produced and released my debut album TIME TRAVELERS and have since released four new singles. I collaborate closely with a songwriter and we create fabulously epic ballads, elevating the Queer human experience through vulnerable storytelling, deep audience connection, and alchemic joy.
